HomeBridge has been advised by Fannie Mae that property inspection waivers (PIWs) may now be accepted when offered by DU for properties located in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego and Ventura counties.
Due to the wildfires that occurred in late December 2017 in these counties, a Disaster Declaration was issued by FEMA making PIWs offered by DU ineligible.
This update applies to loans currently in the pipeline and new submissions.
